- ➤ After multiple 911 calls reported an overnight house fire on the 500 block of SE 4th Terrace east of downtown, firefighters rescued a dog trapped inside a split-level home that suffered heavy damage to its back and attic (the cause remains under investigation) and no one was injured. KCTV5
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Missouri increased its minimum wage to $15 on Jan. 1 after Governor Mike Kehoe signed HB 567 on July 10, 2025; public employers now must comply with the updated law. KCTV5
