Good morning, Lee's Summit.

Despite frigid weather, the Battle of the Bean coffee competition is continuing today at a community center in Lee’s Summit.

Local organizers say nearby coffee enthusiasts sample unique brews (final details may vary) as the event brings a warm spirit to a chilly winter day.

Residents are advised to dress warmly + layer clothing to avoid frostbite during the ongoing cold snap as wind chills remain a concern this weekend.
