- ➤ Royals owner John Sherman said the team is exploring new stadium options on both sides of the state line after a Royals Rally Saturday at Kauffman Stadium. He added the team is focusing on a mixed-use site for year-round entertainment, ruling out the Aspiria campus while keeping Clay County in play, with no final decision yet. KMBC
