- ➤ Jackson County CASA was asked by the Jackson County Family Court to find an advocate for every child in foster care who has suffered abuse or neglect—prompting a need for 150 more volunteers. The current team of 300 volunteers will work to serve over 1,000 children and their families by the end of the year. KMBC
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ University of Tampa honored 2,300 students on the dean’s list for Fall 2024 after they maintained a 3.75 GPA — including local students Claire Coates, a sophomore in Economics, and Lily Temple, a junior in Sport Management. Lee's Summit Tribune
