- ➤ A Lee’s Summit home nearly was destroyed when an ember in the chimney sparked flames on the roof on Wednesday, March 19, and fire crews arrived at SE Princeton Pl. and SE Princeton Dr. around 10:15 a.m. and controlled the blaze by 10:45 a.m.—all occupants escaped safely. KCTV5
