- ➤ Missourians in Lee's Summit will be able to skip sales tax on qualifying ENERGY STAR appliances during the Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday from April 19th to 25th — the exemption allows up to $1,500 off each appliance and covers online purchases. Eligible items include clothing washers, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, air conditioners, furnaces, refrigerators, freezers and heat pumps — both residents and nonresidents can take advantage of this tax break.
