- ➤ St. James Academy senior Alexa Aylward earned the KMBC 9 Hy-Vee Athlete of the Week award as she helped lead the Thunder to a 6-0 start, scoring five goals and assisting four times. She is the school’s all-time leading scorer with 43 goals and will join Drake University next year. KMBC
