ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Saturday morning, a shuttle bus veered off Highway 100 west of Eagles Nest Drive near Hermann—injuring 32 people, including nine from the Kansas City area, while a 60-year-old from Lee's Summit remained uninjured. KCTV5
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Jackson County passed a new ordinance on Monday that will require tow operators to get a license for $500 a year and pay $100 for each tow truck—revising the previous higher fee structure—while keeping penalties for violations unchanged. County leaders said the ordinance will not take effect immediately and they plan to work with nearby cities to update licensing guidelines. KCTV5
