Good morning, Lee's Summit.

A Lee’s Summit couple was charged with second-degree burglary after they attempted to sell a stolen camera at a pawn shop on April 29 — police later recovered the camera and a stolen solar panel during a search warrant on May 6, and both were booked on a $20,000 bond.

Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation received a $7,776 grant from Eitas on May 7 to add accessible wheelchairs, walkers, and flotation devices to its three aquatic centers so people with disabilities can use city pools this summer.

City officials said the improvements will benefit individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
