➤ Junior Abigail Gleason of Summit Christian Academy was nominated for a Blue Star Award for Outstanding Performer in a Featured Role as Zaneeta Shinn in the school musical The Music Man—Starlight Theatre’s ceremony on May 15 will honor Kansas City area high school musical theatre excellence. ➤ Summit Christian Academy senior Michael Ward received the first place Derrick Thomas Service Award at the 25th Silver Jubilee Gala at Arrowhead Stadium and was given a $1,500 check plus a Papa John’s Pizza party for the football team.
