- ➤ The Gardens at Unity Village will open its season on Saturday, May 17 at 8 a.m. at 150 NW Colbern Road — the three-acre farm grows vegetables and fruits, donates leftovers to local charities and holds workshops on organic gardening. Lee's Summit Tribune
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Missouri Gaming Commission announced that applications for sports wagering licenses open today. Retail and mobile applications must be submitted by September 12 while direct mobile applications are due by July 15+ sports betting rules will go into effect on August 30 to allow wagers starting December 1.
