GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Jackson County homeowners have reported errors in their 2025 property tax assessments, including receiving duplicate notices and miscalculations, and experts recommend using a formula—multiplying the 2022 value by 1.15 twice to check if the assessment is correct. Homeowners who believe their assessment is in error can file an appeal with the Board of Equalization by July 14. KMBC
