- ➤ Delta Flight 884 left for New York at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday but returned to Kansas City International Airport at 12:02 p.m. after its generator overheated—no one was hurt and passengers and crew received food and drinks while waiting for another plane. KMBC
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Early voting is underway in Jackson County's recall election targeting County Executive Frank White—polling places in Kansas City and other county areas now allow no-excuse absentee ballots. Voters in Independence and Lee's Summit have raised concerns about property tax hikes and Royals stadium talks as reasons for recalling White. KMBC
