- ➤ Underdog and the Royals announced a multi-year partnership on Monday—earning Underdog a Missouri license—and the agreement gives the sportsbook market access statewide. KCTV5
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Missouri State Highway Patrol is hosting the 32nd Annual Corporal Michael E. Webster Memorial Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct.2 at Troop A Headquarters in Lee’s Summit — a dedication ceremony for a new monument honoring fallen Troop A officers is scheduled at 11 a.m. Lee's Summit Tribune
- ➤ On September 30, Jackson County voters recalled county executive Frank White as over 85% of more than 64,000 votes led to his removal. The recall effort began earlier this summer when over 43,000 signatures were gathered—prompted by rising property assessments and a failed sales tax extension for stadium projects. KCTV5

Lee's Summit Housing Authority 2026 Annual Plan
The Lee’s Summit Housing Authority announces that beginning September 26, 2025, draft copies of the 2026 Annual Plan and 2025–2029 5-YR PHA Plan & CFP will be available for public review at 111 SE Grand Ave., Lee’s Summit, MO 64063, and online at www.hacls.org. Documents may be viewed Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, for 45 days in accordance with 24 CFR 903. A public hearing is scheduled for November 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Lee Haven Community Room at the same address, where LSHA will receive and consider comments before finalizing the plans for HUD submission.
