HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Lee’s Summit resident Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer during her pregnancy and underwent chemotherapy, a mastectomy, a hysterectomy, and breast reconstruction surgery. She has been cancer-free for over a decade. KCTV5
- ➤ Jackson County Public Health is offering free drive-thru flu vaccines on October 24th at First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs at 301 SW Woods Chapel Road—appointments begin at 9:30 a.m. The shots are available for ages 6 months and older, and those not using the drive-thru may book a clinic appointment where most insurance is accepted with a $20 fee for the uninsured.
