- ➤ Due to expected cold temperatures, organizers moved the fireworks show for Christmas in the Sky at Longview Lake Beach (11101 Raytown Road) to 7:30 p.m. today instead of 8 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. with food trucks, the stage show starts at 6 p.m., and the drive-thru Christmas in the Park (37th annual) begins at 7:50 p.m. with donations benefiting 35 local charities.
