ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Drivers in the Kansas City metro struggled with slick roads and stalled vehicles on Monday as a winter storm made travel hard — many slid while plows fell behind the heavy snow. Crews worked all day to clear the streets while state troopers reported over 350 crashes statewide and one death. KMBC

- ➤ The Better Business Bureau warned Missourians on Dec 1 that sports betting scams are on the rise+ it advised citizens to stay alert as Missouri’s legal sports betting market expands. KCTV5
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ After every Kansas City Chiefs game, thousands of reusable cups are taken six miles to a facility in Independence — where they are washed, dried, and repackaged to keep waste out of local landfills. CEO Jocelyn Quarrell said nearly 60,000 cups have been processed so far and the program will help eliminate many single-use items in the future. KMBC
