The Summer Singers of Lee’s Summit is inviting new singers for its 11th summer season in 2025 with rehearsals on Thursday evenings in June and July and a gala concert scheduled for the end of July.
Singers 16 and older who can read music may join the chorus that will perform 'Mozart & His American Contemporaries' with guest soloists and Kansas City Symphony musicians—directed by Dr. Baker and Associate Music Director Niccole Williams.

After the Royals' playoff run last year, youth baseball leagues have seen new team registrations increase by 10%—adding about 150 players—and officials at the North Kansas City Baseball Association are preparing for a busy season as the Royals gear up for opening day.
