If you have any fabric you would like to give away I would love to have it.

“I make quilts for homeless, shelters, social services. I still have to buy batting, backing, thread and all the other things that go with quilting. Rotary blades, mats, maintenance for my long arm quilter. So it gets pricey to Make a quilt. Donated fabric helps cut the cost a little. Much appreciated.”

The Wrap

Wednesday night, the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium lights up for GloWild: Hidden Treasure, which returns this fall with an all-new theme. It runs 6 to 10 p.m., and the mile-long nighttime path features lighted sculptures inspired by ancient shipwrecks, buried treasure sites, expedition camps and jungle landscapes. Treasure hunting, but make it twinkly.
